Performance Evaluation System


The Performance Evaluation System allows the different management areas of the Regional Ministerial Secretaries of health, to evaluate the performance of their employees according to the standard protocol established for this purpose. At first there was a complete redesign of the data model and it was implemented using the MySQL database engine. To develop the system, the technologies used were PHP5, CSS2. HTML4 and jQuery. The architecture used was a sort of MVC pattern. Among the functionalities implemented are: email notifications sent at the end of each evaluation step to every participant of the process, creation of a log system that can be browsed in human readable language that gives access to all the steps of the process including an option to export the log; a detailed follow-up of the entire process, a reply system among employer and employee, administration panel, fine grained roles, etc.
